Calisthenics

Just wondering if anyone here trains bar type calisthenics, and in addition how they feel it benefits/impedes/effects there MA training. Are there any MAs that still include this or similar bar-type bodyweight calisthenics training? I've heard that some Kalaripayattu and Pehlwani schools used to train Mallakhamb for conditioning, although supposedly these days it is typically more of a performance art than a method of training.

The pull up bar is the only exercise equipment one needs. And if there is no bar one can hang from a tree branch. Take a break from training if there is any elbow or shoulder pain. Flex the triceps to protect the elbows and pull the shoulders into their sockets.

Chin up and pull up. Weighted and unweighted. Close, shoulder-width, wide, alternate and parallel grip.
Front and back lever
Muscle up
Clutch and press flag
