I spent alot time With LuPing he knew alot styles we are talking 20 years ago. If you are interested in real fa jin I suggest Wang Hai Jun amazing internal power and taiji skill.

my teacher said that he started to study under Zhang Lu Ping after he took a seminar and after the seminar he asked to feel it for real and was thrown back into either a a table or some folded chairs (i forgot what he said it was but the impression was that it was quite a distance).

i wanna see someone getting hit by a Chen guy ... i have never seen it ... Chen Fajing is famous ... do they hit each other in the style?

No, of course they don't hit each other in Chen Taiji. Far too dangerous (though if you are lucky, the Chen boys will hit you with a shoulder strike)

Most of the combative training in Chen AFAIK is PH/grappling based. Of course, fajing can be used in grappling, but you are right...why the lack of slapping in this art?
