Good leg work in the second clip but I prefer a slightly higher stance with better flow and less double weighting
Don't put power into the form let it naturally arise from the form

Bad that you can't ask the founder about this... Low double weighted stances is really a trademark of the classical Wu (Jianquan) style.

About 20-50 different performances and pictures that I have watched and from a dozen a books I've read. But I'm not an expert of this style, so of course it's possible that I might have come to the wrong conclusion. Pls prove me wrong 8-)

I have learnt Wu through 3 different lineages and trained with direct family members and even though I have seen deep stance work
Double weighting has never been a part of it
I can't disprove a negative you made the statement it is up to you to prove your theory

Bao, I think what Wayne is taking issue with is the 'double-weighted' part of the sentence. No-one would deny that early Wu Jianquan style was probably quite a lot lower than say is currently practiced in the HK line (and in fact Shanghai teachers preserve this method of practice but it is rarely documented). Could you go into a bit more detail of stances / postures which you would consider double weighted?

Incredible form. Unlike comments from other members I don't think he double weights but suspend his weight on one leg except at 5.10 seconds which looks a little iffy. :)
