John "Kung Fu" Wang

Postby Spncr on Wed Sep 30, 2015 10:17 pm

I saw this many years ago on the Wholphin NO.5 DVD Magazine, however it just occurred to me that even though John Wang frequents RSF, that some people here may not have seen this. Seen it or not, either way, enjoy!

Remember seeing this years ago and thinking, what an Old school expert in his craft, and since then have listened closely to what John has had to say.

Mad respects John Wang!

The other man is John Wang's longtime student, Pat Goode. I am very pleased to count them both among my friends. They are serious martial artists and great guys as well. :)

when you misinterpret my words please don't blame me for that; or act like i said what you changed based on a faulty interpretation instead of taking my words as written ! (I know, this is the internet, but that doesn't mean you can put words in my mouth)

I greatly enjoy my discussions here with JW, and I always learn something. He combines the classical commitment to deep and dedicated training with a highly analytical modern mind. He is also highly disinclined to brag. Google his competition history--he could brag if he wanted to. Further, until I saw this video, a few years ago, I did not know that John invented something I use every day. :)

I define internal martial art as unusual muscle recruitment and leave it at that. If my definition is incomplete, at least it is correct so far as it goes.

I remember seeing that video for the first time and becoming somewhat confused when he started describing the patent, such an odd way to end an MA video, I love it.
