Bjj - perfect for wimpy "men" who get caught in emascalating positions against big girls. So what do they do? Practise for thousands of hours in emascalating positions with other men because lets face it - they have no hope of avoiding getting emascalated.

Oh the irony. Oh the bad marketing.

I don't mind women of any size sitting on me and draining my testicles but men I'll leave that with Graham. ;D ;D

I expected this from everyone else, but from you, sir, I'm surprised!

Is anyone under the illusion that this is or ever was an actual conversation?

In a chance to answer the OP:

The most capable martial artists are grapplers of one type or another.
Some benefits of grappling (a deep topic):
*Through Non cooperation (limited of course, but it isn't forms or kata) you learn free responses.
* Understanding distancing and closing
* Understanding balance under continuous and real pressure.
* Understanding... legs.
* Continual flow or change. Sending out/ feeding back/ setting up/ feinting/ reading.
* Dealing with varying pressures
* Breath control
* Learning when to push an opening and when to forget it and change (low level people never learn this. They always try to muscle through, anyway)
* Learning vertical and horizontal ( a deep topic)
* Combine grappling (jujutsu) with kicks, punches and freestyle weapons? You become the cream of budo, being able to easily handle most traditional players who never walked this walk.

All true, and all could be said of any sort of infighting, don't you think? I disagree, however, that this is an optimal response to the OP-- I think we would all be better served (in our respective arts and in life) by continuing to make fun of Graham.

Is this about escaping the mount or bad advertising! I'm focused on the later.

Really it's a bad bad ad.

As for ground fighting vs. etc. We all know it's smart to avoid the ground in reality, once there it's smart to know how to escape and I hope everyone does know that getting caught in the mount of a ground and pound is absolutely nasty. (Well I hope everyone knows this).

But I dont need a silly 400 pound momma sitting on a wimpy lad to know this. It reminds me of these sorts of shameless sales ads.

Well can be that man in fifteen minutes a day with the right kettle bell routine.

And I can also show someone how to throw a punch in 5 minutes. We might be onto something here.

All we need now is to just start with the right approach of humiliating insecure teens & guys & the rest will write itself! ::)

110% certain the original post was a joke, so no, it's not marketing.
