Just saw this on some random Facebook post. Not posting for the merit of his actions obviously.

But some Very relaxed heavy striking going on there.

Interesting clip.

1. Yes. Relaxed means heavy.
People don't like heavy relaxation for some reasons. When they see it in tai chi, people calls it unstructured and noodling. But here's some heavy noodling for sure.

2. Leaving someone unconscious on his back means that there's a good possibility that he swallows his tongue, stop breathing and die. IMO it's quite unecessary to kill someone just to make a point.

Didn't want to highjack so I moved the post to it's own thread.

Just re-iterating this. I didn't think his strategy or approach was good at all. That wasn't why I posted the clip.

Judging by his posture and body language, I'd say the guy has a background in some sort of security work (e.g., doorman, bouncer). His precious knock-out blows to the chin and jaw would suggest familiarity with combat sport -- most likely boxing.

Almost looks like Systema to me lol. I think the guy did ok, if the other guy pulled a knife maybe he would have done something different. If the other guy had done etc etc, we can go on all day with that. But fact is he dealt with the guy from a non-threatening stance that suckered him in each time. I do agree about leaving someone on their back though, plus the danger of hitting the head as they go down
