that's all taiji and BAD taiji too. lol!
Thanks, you proved my point - it is "bad taiji" because it isn't taiji at all. I did taiji for some time previously, so I know what taiji is. I know what bad taiji is as well, though these days it's very rare I'll comment negatively on anything, especially something I haven't experienced first hand

Yeah, well I have too, my first yang style teacher did almost all the same things in that video.

Cool , do you you have any video of him showing ground engagement or working freestyle against unscripted movements?

no, but honestly yes we did a lot of that including rolling around the back, rolling the arms. at least half of that stuff.

Ask him "What's the color of the boathouse at Hereford?!" Repeat: "What's the color of the boathouse at Hereford?!!!"

he had a very strange style of taiji, he trained all over the place.
even rolling our heads together like in that video, we did that too.
he trained in the east, the west, china everywhere.

Cool - so it wasn't Yang style then? Only I trained with a lot of Yang style and Yang family people and never saw the head roll thing. Or did I miss it?

honestly I don't know, it is a strange form of yang style, nothing like CMC lineage or the guys from clears.
like I said, I have to be careful what I say because I will get a phone call or 2 if I'm incorrect I'm my statements.
My Yang style teacher is why I got involved with taiji in the first place. I respect him completely, I'm just into Chen now.
And that's not just Chen either, it is a hybrid from Zhang Lu Ping.
