Wow! Must be really scary being repeatedly blasted with that.
How do they condition the leg?

Many banana plantation trees died in making this clip.

But can he do push hands? How about his ability to work at the intention level?

Ha! Those are low level, external roundhouse kicks. Imagine what would happen if Samkor learned how to throw internal roundhouse kicks. Also, that is in a ring. The streetz is a whole different mentality. Samkor would panic and not be able to handle himself in a real fight. -sarcasm- :o :D

Correct, he would be neutralised on contact by an internal practitioner

They're almost all incredibly poor, live in a stable with other fighters for 10+ years, nothing to do but kick heavy bags and pads all day for hours, compete a couple times per month, money / fame incentive to go hard.

Some methods also added to many thousands of kicks.

Use a rolling stick to roll it up/down on the shins. Then tap and then hit. Then move to something heavier. This is really to round out the conditioning by massaging parts or conditioning parts that missed it on the bag or in sparring.
Massage knots with a warm wet towel. Some use tiger balm or oils.
Running, squats & leg conditioning.

But most important - time, consistency and patience. Again many many thousands of kicks.

Excellent clip, it is rare to see a kicker of that skill.

Surprised that the Japanese chap's arm survived without being broken: There are cases of good Thai kickers breaking their trainers' arms through the kicking pads.

Relying on the tricep muscle against a repetitive battering from a shin like that....FFS.

To my understanding, "intention" is not exclusive to IMA. Not that anyone in particular is saying that. I realize IMA may use intention at a higher level, which I would be interested in hearing the difference in details.

Elite, external fighters use feints, traps, setups, deception, angles, pivots, strategies (attack high/low, linear/circle attacks, inside/outside guard attacks, pressure/release pressure, chaining attacks, etc.) footwork, etc., to disguise their own intention and control their opponent's intention (even with no touch!). ::) :)

IMO, the goals of the internal and external fighters are similar: yield, gain advantageous position, control, borrow force, cause the opponent to double weight, stiffen, or tense up, etc., then finish.

Err no

use feints, traps, setups, deception, angles, pivots, strategies (attack high/low, linear/circle attacks, inside/outside guard attacks, pressure/release pressure, chaining attacks, etc.) footwork, etc., to disguise their own intention and control their opponent's intention (even with no touch)

this is not really the point.
What do you train (IMA) and how long have you trained it ?
