try again,,key word "someone" he mentioned that he noted someone filming but
had not realized he was the subject

If it was me I would've said asked before doing so, he would've known directly ...
we both don't know who filmed him,,,

I thought it was well done and caught some practice
that was free....and natural.

Nah, I think it's an interesting approach to film Tai Chi this way. It gets more honest this way, practice for the sake of practicing instead of for the sake of looking good in front of the camera. 8-)

Hi Franklin. I use head phones for sensory depravation.
Ear plugs do the same thing.

A general observation only, nothing addressed towards you personally.

not a problem.
Honestly I'm not hiding flaws, I'm hands on.
Lately though, I've been re-evaluating. A friend of mine just had a stroke, He is partially paralyzed.
What's more important, Health or martial? And as we get older, do we tend to think more of heaven?

Health is always more important. As a stroke survivor my awkward gait and posture often marks me as a target of opportunity. Thankfully the awareness I've cultivated has saved me from having to fight most of these people. I think my health would be much worse if I just had the health cultivation.

Health is always more important.

And the people who have it believe that the least.

I meant not being hit with batons, stabbed, and beaten senseless because I knew how to fight has been quite good for my health. Why learn a martial art if you can't use it? The health gains from practicing internal are quite significant but I'm thankful my teachers have all emphasized fighting drills and testing or I might not be here today.

All true. If one has developed skill, it will last. However, "health" won't. Lately, in the BX, there have been a spate of robberies of elderly people in wheel-chairs. My position on martial arts is that they give practitioners the ability to protect those who can't protect themselves. There will always be "the weak," and we'll all be one some day. Well, unless we don't get there. Practicing (or exercising) puts that day off, and I agree it's better to be trained at that point.

Of course, when the predators look for a target, it's the slow and weak that they pick. When the herd runs, though, there may be those who'll turn back to protect the rear. They're the warriors.
