Tang Yik (Deng Yi) was considered a very high level Wing Chun practitioner and his staff was top notch. Tang Yik's Wing Chun was not from Yip Man's line, and he was very well known in Hong Kong.

Thanks for sharing! This staff is longer than the one I'm used to training with, but some of the guards and strikes are similar. It was a nice video to watch.
I have one suggestion - that you consider picking up a couple of fencing masks for use when sparring. At $50 a mask they are considerably cheaper than repairing a broken orbital socket. Also, if you have a fencing school nearby, and don't mind an old mask that smells like King Kong, you might see if they would be willing to give you a couple of old masks when they are no longer suitable for fencing. I've picked up several masks this way for free.
