That was the header on the clip, I'm assuming that those that uploaded it felt it was light contact.

If we put fighting experience or sparring knowledge aside... I don't quite understand why "everyone" goes into a generic sparring mode and don't really utilize the strategies that their style has to offer. But there is some nice stuff going on here, like that hand drag at 1.00. It looks like he might be able to pull it of in a combat situation.

Sadly a so few will ever see their art perform the way it is designed, because they don't believe it looks like that. Yes though he offers it as sarcasm, if you learn your art to the level of fighting skill it is designed to reach, it will most assuredly look like the movie clip he presented when you use it. Not when you perform it, but when you use it.
