Chung Yi Chuan", is considered a very important form under master Chen's Baji system. It serves as the "pre- Baji" form to develop students' lower body stregnth before they get to learn Da BaJi Chuan (as "Xiao Baji" can only be taught to disciples). Within the Chung Yi Chuan form, there are lot of foot work transitions where students can start training in grinding steps, and compare to Xiao Baji there aren't as many MaBu in the form, this allows students to ease into the Baji system without harming their joints.
Teacher sees the well being of his students' martial practice as top priority, this is why among his students there are few of us who got hurt from our practice.
