Thanks for this video. Any commentary/advice on the more flat fall vs. rolling type breakfall? Is it assumed it's ideal to roll but sometimes it's not possible? Looks like the front face fall was some kind of hands tied exercise. Thanks.

YW. Yep, there's a couple on the YT channel for rolling, will get link up later. At the moment we are working into throws, so have been covering a lot of this type of falling work with the guys last few weeks. We start from the ground and work up. It's important as the better you know your partner can fall, the better you can throw them. Also it means you are confident to fall without using hands, useful for sacrifice throws, etc

Excellent Video Rob thanks for sharing - some of the students seem stiff still but with going down onto wooden floors it can be really hard to really relax and let go
