Joe - thanks for posting I dont do much taiji at all these days so you can take this with a big grain of salt

Some of it seemed pretty stiff especially around the hips/movement of the torso and at times really looked to lack peng jin

I would work on those areas to keep improving

Thanks for the input. Everything on my left side is almost an inch shorter than my right so I have a tendency to catch tension in my hips & lower back. I appreciate the comments.

The student has the same shortcomings so I don't think it comes from your body
Look up fu wing Fei of fu style tai chi he has one leg quite a bit shorter than the other
