Looks a little like Su Dong Chen material. Not sold on the BaiJi, but thought the foam weapon bashing looked like fun.

Yes looks like fun, but I'm not sold on it being demonstrative of swordplay

The white ones are supposed to represent sticks.

The brown one's supposed to represent a dao.

If a sword is not representative per weight and physical conditioning of the user, demos are doomed to failure.
I was working out with some fellows with European sword practitioners in the sandbox some yeras ago and the weight was enough for one to revise how to use said instrument especially if you cannot even lift it sufficiently for use. Those swords are heavy!

Foam swords are hella fun and should not be taken too seriously.

The one real benefit of them - ever seen cma guys move as much as this? It really puts them on their toes especially if the rule are that only slashes can score. Teaches a lot about evasion and positioning in a relatively harmless game.

Straight line slices and stabs makes for a slower game, do require more weapon skill but also tends to be less dynamic. Also more realistic. Fun to do both.

Again, the white things are supposed to represent sticks. It says so in the video.
