Someone asked how BGB was. He is good. Practicing bjj and mma as well as bgz!
Here is a little handwork taken from a few of the moves from the first three ba gua changes.
Thanks.

Rogers, Paul. Making people jealous one clip at a time.

Nice, also was wondering, if BGB did keep up the training.
And yes, he did quite well. Some years more, and Paul can think of retiring, job well done!

Fantastic stuff Paul, a testament to your teaching as well as bagua boy's own hard work. Just goes to show what can be done if you start kids off young.

Really hope bagua boy sticks at it, as taiwandeutscher says, in a few years you can leave the teaching basics to him ;)

Thanks for the positve comments. Its encouraging for Coltrane to hear. There is very little or no reward for practicing TMA,so good feedback is great. He is actually more skillfull than the video suggests, and is quite fluid in applying almost all of the moves from the eight changes.
Anyway thanks again.

Hey, Paul.

Tell Coltrane that Kao looked first class! I'm guessing he'll be launching people soon enough if he isn't already.

Great stuff! I'm sure you're very proud.

Best wishes,

S.

Thanks as always for both of you posting the real art.

Both Paul Rogers and Coltrane are hidden treasures in the UK, Paul's skill level and functional ability are higher than most of what I found in China and Taiwan - exceptional considering he not a bulky man by any means, but his internal power and ability to change are very refined.

For those who didn't know, we made two documentary films about Paul and Coltrane, going in depth into their training background, Paul's decades in Malaysia and Tianjin, lots of explanations of deep theory of Bagua/Xingyi/Taijiquan/Yiquan, demos of techniques, forms and little gems which I have seen on no other videos. Films to watch again and again for inspiration and rare knowledge.

Thanks Paul! Coltrane's doing great. Looks like you may have raised a martial arts nut! Lucky kid. Very glad he's doing BJJ and MMA as well, hopefully he'll find a good standup wrestling coach somewhere along the line.
