Yang Wall Training

Postby Steve Rowe on Wed Jul 19, 2017 8:25 am

Bear in mind I have no quadriceps on either leg and my right one has no knee and only an iron bar to fuse it straight.(Plus I can't get the link to put it directly on here from my phone!)

Great skill on your part as ever.

Not sure I would have the balls to do the same though, the back of that dude's head is an inch away from a big claim on your insurance!

If he dents the wall, we just fill it in with a bit of plaster ;D

Gee Steve you got me all excited there I thought you were going to show the whole wall training sequence
Solo drills as well
On his head being near the wall this is part of the training
Just think of it as break falls
It is also used to produce fa Jing and effect the marrow in the bones and the faccia

Don't put power into the form let it naturally arise from the form

It also teaches how to control adrenaline release, when you get the right 'pop' as you hit the wall, the right way and bounce back the invigorating 'power up' of the system makes you come back harder and develops the fighting mind in a way that I've not seen anywhere else.
