Hi

Need some help.

Does anyone know who the guys are in the clip pushing hands , starts at 3.43 minutes in to clip.

Or has anyone experienced that sort of skill in or outside China and if so can you give us details of who and where they are ?.

Many thanks

My teacher is irrelevant.

I wrote out a much longer response to you, but decided I'm tired of arguing at this point in my life...especially about MA.

I'll just leave it with with 5:32- Not my cup of tea.

Cheers.

I might be wrong but it looks like Wu style out of Malaysia
The broadsword is the shines/shines HsuanHsuan broadsword
You do realise that the pushing uses a bit of awkward strength and the stuff that looks like no touch at the end the guy is giving up his fingers and the teacher is just doing finger twists, thus the violent reaction
Yes I have seen plenty of pushing of that level all over the place

Hi
The objective of the clip was to find out where and who the teachers are that proclaim that they have this type of skill.
I would like to meet up with them to test their skills I am very skeptical, however happy to be proven wrong.
I travel a lot throughout China so any help finding them ( names , places ) would be helpful?.
Anyone with other clips again would be great.

Why not start with teachers in the US who also demo this type of skill.
Notice how BT "gets it" suggesting that those looking may think it "fake shit."

"got to be in the game to understand the game
BT " ;)

What is often shown in demos that people question like the OP's clip, is a reaction between
2 connected bodies using the same principles. The reactions tend to be a little more clean
but never the less are reactions based on whats happening.

note the reactions of the master at 20:20 while he is coaching BT.

BT may not feel what he is doing, the master reacts to it just as in the
OP clip the student reacts to the teacher.

As often the case one may not feel what they are doing, just as others can cause reactions
that others may not feel but react to....that may question when shown in a clip.

Interesting in the clip the way the conversation changes towards the end of it.
"energy" "feeling" "following" ect. the reactions change as this new awareness is adopted and used.

The real question is how this translates into a useful skill
outside of the format use for "training"
