Cool video - think this kind of experience (full-time training for close to a year) could change your life, or certainly cause you to have a different view of what your body is capable of.

Looks like a good school with a friendly vibe - think this review is of the same school: https://shaolinsticksandstones.wordpress.com/2015/10/09/xinglong-kung-fu-school-a-formal-ish-review/.

The teacher (Wang Xinglong) studied with Shi Deqian - can anyone comment on the kind of Shaolin being taught?

I know Wang Xinglong. He used to teach at Kunyu Shan Academy years ago (where I spent a year). He had a falling out with the headmaster over the growing commercialisation of the school, and left to set his own school up in the Northeast.

If I remember correctly, he was previously a Sanda champion in China until he broke his back, and then retired to teach instead. He teaches typical temple Shaolin material, but his big passion is still Sanda.

I did a short interview with him in the early days of my site https://monkeystealspeach.com/interviews-of-masters/shaolin-master-shi-xing-long/
