Not a comment on the fighters themselves only illustrative of
how certain principles are adhered to and used, and what happens
when they are not.

Imagine a circle around Sakuraba, he works and stays within this.

The taiji, teacher starts out over extended outside of his own base
never recovers, he never controlled his own space or was unaware of it.

off topic but Sakuraba was super fun to watch for a while there. I don't really watch mma any more. PRIDE bringing in a little element of craziness/entertainment was a nice or annoying touch depending on your perspective.
