Nice. This teacher obviously has Taiji skills and I see yin and yang in his movements.

looks like Lumpini Park in Bangkok.

Used to practice there surprisingly lots of CMA being taught in the
park they even have a CMA association as I remember.

It would be interesting to see him apply it with some thai boxers whos bases
are not so fixed.

Using Taiji against Thai boxers is no easy task. Those vicious low kicks that Thai boxing is known for can quickly destroy a Taiji player's lower body and deprive him of his root.

Don't mean to rain on this teacher's parade, but if all he does is PH, he'll be in a world of hurt against any half-decent Thai boxers.

In the way they play push hands he would and will be.
IMO this would be true for most if not all taiji players.

If he actually played with some half decent thai boxers he might come to an
understanding of why this would be so and hopefully would make adjustments in his training.

As you mentioned he has skill, looks like they'er enjoying the training.
When I used to live in Thailand, the Thia's I knew really respected CMA and seemed to
understand the differences between it and muy thai.

CJW: I just want to make it clear that I am not a fan of competitive PH at all because I think the way it is done utterly defeats the purpose of Taiji PH training. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26319&start=15
;)

Very much agree with this statement.

From what I know Sifu Liang is connected to Adam Mizner.
Mizner learned from Sifu Liang.
If you cross reference Adams demos with Sifu Liang, they almost look identical :D

I always found Adams for interesting. I believe in his background he's studied Southern praying mantis. His work and others similar to him always reminds me of Southern praying mantis when I look at it.

The bridging and controlling aspects seem very similar a little different than other taiji apps by other teachers.

I'm talking about drop in challenges so cameras weren't on hand
This was in the 60/70's so video wasn't about at the time
It was also at the time of Malay independence so to publicise it wasn't politically wise
As well as Thai boxers Shaolin guys would drop by to test their boxing

Very cool.

I'm quite curious as to what sort of techniques and strategies you guys would use to successfully deal with the Thai low kicks?

The low kick was something that was part of our system as well.
We didn't really train one technique against another it was more about overall body awareness.
We had sets of combinations specifically designed for tournament fighting
They resembled Gao straight line ba kua.
Things like rollback press repeated with follow stepping left and right
There was also grandmaster Chocks fighting set and lots of two man application mixed with pushing

Using Taiji against Thai boxers is no easy task.

I don't understand this statement. There are people who do thai boxing who are lousy on fighting and there are Tai Chi people who understand fighting very well. You can kick or strike anyone in the nuts if his attention is somewhere far away from this area. Tai chi doesn't need to be very complicated.
