Did Ralph Macchio make a deal with the Devil to never age, or something? :D

To be honest I was a fan of the original movies as I’m sure many on this site were.
Ah the innocent 80’s

While I would like to have hoped a fair amount of effort would have gone into the continuation of the story my gut feel tells me I’ll be bitterly disappointed. I just had to see Ralph’s reverse crescent kick in one of the clips to get that feeling.

But I’ll still end up watching it of course if I can.

Yes absolutely the first film was great very nice feeling to it, the second was good and also he'd a nice feeling(actually inspired me to go to Okinawa:) ..... The movies after that went downhill.. But I too will probably end up watching this new one:)

I gotta admit - while I don't really care for the idiocy of the schoolkids' egos, I really enjoy the dynamic between Ralph Macchio and William Zabka. I like the struggle for Zabka's character to do the right thing, and I liked the way things were flipped for most of season 1, where Macchio's character was a total d-bag ego. Just finished watching season 2.Enjoying it.

Like Meeks I've really enjoyed the new series. I remember seeing a fan film on youtube a few years back (I'm sure it's still there somewhere) where Macchio is portrayed as a bully. Check it out (the series) - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Can admit that I've binge watched both of the seasons 3 times. One of my all time favorite TV-shows. Agree with Meeks that the dynamic between the main characters is excellent and the best part of the show.
