Richard Simmons Qigong Workout

A friend sent me this video today asking about cardio, and my jaw dropped. Look at him! Is Richard Simmons doing chi kung!? His movements seem to clearly express six harmonies movement and he is full of.. vitality.

I have seen lots of people in the park and even many indoor qigong/taichi classes which do the same kind of motion as this.

amateur practices til gets right pro til can't get wrong
/ better approx answer to right q than exact answer to wrong q which can be made precise /

The easiest way to have harmony in one’s movements is to go at the same time every morning and eat lots of Fibre. :)

On the other hand, Richard Simmons did inspire a lot of people to put down their bags of chips [at least momentarily] and get moving… which is never a bad thing. The last few years of his life have been rather sad if I remember correctly from various media reports; not that media reports always report reality as opposed to ‘what sells”.
