Hello! I am new here. I have created a new YouTube channel where I want to share some content that is not often seen, mainly found on the video channels from WeChat.

The first one I want to share with you is this guy from Xingyi who is showing some dantian practices. I hope you’ll enjoy, but also that you will give here your opinion.

what's the purpose of this training of this particular psychic centre
how does it work and what does it do.. what's the point, what does it have to do with gong fu anyway, how does it relate to martial arts for you if it does (dan tian)?
why do you do it, what are you "filling" it with, and does a video matter with this kind of practice ? Personally I would have thought not.

because when I look at this video, I see nothing, absolutely Nada, to do with a dan tian

I am not here to defend the guy on the video, I don't know him anyway. I am here to share. If you cannot see how the works on the middle dantian is related with internal martial arts, then I cannot help you.

This is an exercise we do along with the Tien Gan
His upper body isolation is impressive but I doubt it is gained by doing that exercise

I just do the exercises the way I was taught and wait for them to reveal their treasures
