The Fa Jin here is much more natural than shown elsewhere
The pushing is a little clumsy
Where does Li style originate

I've always liked the Li Style - the baji master in Tianjin does it really well as is all of his material but he passed on at a young age - if I find it I will post it

My student Geoff when he was in China in the 80’s was introduced to 3 teachers in a remote part of China
They showed him the opening of their form and recited a poem
It started
Take one big watermelon
Cut it in half
Give half to one person
Half to the other

Their form started like this one
You can see where the poem matches the moves

When they recited the poem the all laughed

The ripe watermelon crack open just by the sight of a knife.

My main teacher of CMA(in Sweden) together with a colleague(from another European country) during their visit to Taiwan in late 70’s encountered the XYQ half-step, they thought the teacher said bamboo, they actually kept that belief since neither of them never learned Chinese….

By coincidence, here’s the Li bamboo step……

Neither TJQ or XYQ, but could be added for extra footwork skill ?
