Meh!... people have different views on how power should be released. Each one will say his is better. I'm happy with what I'm learning now, makes more sense to me. The practice shown here just... is.

yeh ... i agree ... i dont aim to have that sort of shenfa ... it isnt anything like what i do or have encountered.

BUT STILL ... what i think it does show is someone that has spent alot of time perfecting their way of doing things.

Taking Tadzio's opinions of the real/fake xing yi out of the picture ... and removing the political bullshit from the video is best i think.

This video shows a very interesting expression of xing yi ... and i think thats what should be concidered.

the shake during the fajin seems deliberate and forced. can anyone explain the logic behind that to me?

EDIT- no disrespect intended, just trying to understand someone else's method a little better.

That is some good movement there, regardless of what martial art you do.

Could he be showing that his strikes are powerful yet relaxed?

and removing the political bullshit from the video is best i think.

Totally agree.

But why? What does it show?

There are things I like, but some I dislike. I can see that power is a main concern. His movements are strong, fast and crisp and, if you take away the shaking still, his strike delivery is not bad. But how is this extraordinary?

Do you think he shakes because his fist is not closed tightly, or is it some other reason? I guess only Tadzio can explain that one, since no one else on here knows much about this style. Tadzio, if your out there, its an honest question and if your willing to give an answer I would be most appreciative! :)

As he is not hitting any target I would assume its the energy that in other case would manifest in the target.
The shaking looks to me as not forced at all - compare with some flowery fajin "chen" guys try to fake sometimes:)

The shaking looks very much like what some schools of Bagua strive for - it is an elastic release of force.

What he explain is more interesting than he shows, I guess...
