One training methodology is to take your "fast" forms and do the first set slowly like the above. The second set is performed slowed but is punctuated by stopping at various points and checking your structure and posture. The thirds set is then performed at the fastest speed you can play with no concern for structure. Then the 3 sets are performed 3 more times for a total of 9 lines.

They progagated Ba Ji, Pi Gua, Fan Zi etc.

Ma Xiang Da-> Ma Yue etc

They called their schools Tong Bei meaning, understand your Wen (literature) and ready your martial (Wu)

or Wen Tong Wu Bei and Tong Bei for short.

It is not the same as the thru the back/arm tong bei (which is a style).
