Willie Pep and Sandy Saddler were famous for their fights against each other back in the day. Some tough fighters..

Pep is considered one of the revolutionary boxers - his elusiveness and footwork changed the game completely

A lot of Pep on youtube, v. Saddler, etc. Saddler was highly skilled, and reknowned for his repetoire of dirty tricks.

Some CMC taiji people in NY always taught me about Wille Pep a few years ago, I had never heard of him until then. The guy had a whole lot of fights even after a plane crash.

His movement and footwoork (starting at about 3:45 in the vid) is awesome. I really like how he's spinning boxers in the ring. Obviously, he was very adept at using his opponents movement against him.

Willie defined his style as "he who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day" i guess that explains his 'hit and run' tactics

Willie's ranked #4 in this best defensive boxers clip:

I think the 'untouchable' should be #1 though. It's just insane.
