Mix (of-hands-should-be-no-higher-than-the-eyebrow-fame),

In that first (of the three) Tai Xing methods he shows, his arms circle up way higher than his head then come down.

What say you of this?

you clearly did not read my post.
I said in pi.... Pi!

That movement has nothing to do with Pi!

And its not me who said it, its Li Cun Yi.
There is a big difference. I am a relative neophyte to xingyi, while Li Cun Yi was one of the best masters of all time.

Jeez!

Graham, are you on some kind of drug? First, it was not Mix who said it but me. Second, we were talking about Pi specifically.

Sorry, I was under the impression you meant they should never go over the eyebrow at all.

I do wonder what jing/jin you think he's using (from the Jins of XingYi) in that Tai movement if its not Pi though... but maybe that conversation is for another time and place.

b.t.w. got a link to where Li cun yi said this?

I can get you the exact quote from a book. I just have to get it translated. I'll try to have it up by tomorrow.
