OK, here we go again.... It's a bear and an eagle as separate animals in our system. But there is also a real animal in China known as an "Bear Eagle" which exhibits the characters of both a Bear (when on the ground) and an Eagle (when in the air) when it hunts. Either way, there are bear bits - (yin/soft/minimal) and eagle bits (yang/hard/extended), so it's the same thing whichever way you look at it.
