Some things stand out about this. The assailants did not gang up. This may show the value of putting a quick hurting on the first punk, dampening the ardor of the others. And you should not pay attention to your hat. Finally I note that the fellow had no fancy moves, didn't need them. In all an instructive video on mid-level intensity fisticuffs.

I define internal martial art as unusual muscle recruitment and leave it at that. If my definition is incomplete, at least it is correct so far as it goes.

Pure excellence. In a situation like that, losing is NOT an option!

Agreed....those assholes were to scared of him that they couldnt even gang up on him so they decided to punk on his woman....theres a really nice shot where he punches one of them in the throat and the guy just drops...very NICE! I hate bullies...i'd go nuts too if they touched my wife!

Interesting - Anger must have helped him a lot as he didn't care at all that he was getting smacked. Good work!

Ha! :D

What? No kicks?

there was an instance, just a moment where he had the perfect opening for a big kick in the nuts. I was almost off the chair shouting at the screen "KICK HIM!!" :)

He landed some great shots

Kicks are far less natural for most people than punches. Expecting him to size up the situation and put his boot to sack when he probably has lost his tull target focus and peripheral vision due to tunnel vision and a strong mental focus on punching the opponent's lights out is unrealistic.

Aggression and swinging works fine in many cases - including this one. If he has not learned boxing formally, he is a natural: While he may lack a finisher, he has knockdown power against guys his own weight.

Good clip.
