Thanks - very interesting stuff.

I can see you're desperately trying to get him to hit you hard for the camera, but he's just not having any of it - he's too nice ;D

Great to see Derek. I love how you are working on setting up for throws in part 2, seems like my cup of tea. Making me feel like I am missing out on all the fun.
Did Wendy come train with you guys? I have dived back into the XYLH stuff with fervor lately. Probably can not make it to Boston by 7am tomorrow, but going to try and meet up with Peng later in the day to learn some things. We should meet up if you are hanging around this weekend.
Can I ask what space you are using to train? Seems like a great facility.

I liked that a lot. Not seen much XYLH in application before and I have to say most of the apps look very similar to things I've been shown in Hebei XY's she-er-xing (12 animals) both in appearance and mechanics, very interesting. I'm going to take a better look when I get home and can listen to it too. I like how he's very hands on and lets you mvoe him about and push him around to get the right feel and then he shows you a bit more and lets you have another go. Looks like he's a very knowledgable and skillful guy who is training you.

I like what I see too, Derek. You've loosened up a lot. I think you've improved pretty noticeably over your already significant level of gung fu.

Goodonya!!!

You're a lucky man Derek.
Funny how many skilled people I've seen where you can look at someone's body and never in a million years guess that they have so many ways of destroying you with it. :)

Thanks for sharing, and please pass our thanks to your teacher for sharing (i.e. allowing you to share) that as well.

Excellent stuff, I would really have loved to hear more of the end conversation you guys were having about the animals, the Tiger and Eagle, the monkey was visible in some apps. Thanks for sharing
