That's frickin' awesome. But I don't know why. On the outside it looks like a bunch of isolated hand movement, but you can tell that each blow has serious body connection behind it.
The more I see of the Southern styles, the less I understand what's going on inside. Although perhaps at the highest levels they resemble Northern neijia, the route along the way seems very different.
Perhaps a Chow Gar practitioner could enlighten me. What is the architecture of this style, what attributes does it seek to develop, etc...I have a few guesses about the martial philosophy behind it, but I'd like to hear more about that too.
