I've met and been coached a little by the man. Easily the most genuine, friendly and TALENTED fighter I've ever seen. Always a fan, always rooting for him. ;D

I always root for him also. I think he has the second best hands in MMA.
A. Silva is number one.
It's to bad that the decision on the first GSP fight went to GSP. I think it was clear that B.J. won.

BJ did not win the GSP fight bro! Not sure what fight you were watching, but GSP and that weight class is too much for BJ (and I am a BJ fan!).

I'm talking about their first fight. The one where GSP's face got beaten to a pulp.
BJ is a much better puncher than GSP and showed it in that fight.

The second fight where BJ cracked a rib, BJ lost due to that.

The third fight results should be tossed out due to GSP being oiled up.

Does anyone see Sanchez to be the likely winner? Or is it gonna pretty much be like BJ vs. Florian? You think "this guy can probably beat BJ" but then you remember BJ is just simply better.

Bill: I agree with JAB. BJ definitely lost that first fight with GSP. He beat the hell out of GSP in the first round but as usual (until his new conditioning coach) he ran out of steam and GSP came on to edge out the second round and clearly take the third for the decision. If you watch a replay of the fight, hopefully you will agree.

You're confused I think. BJ & GSP only fought twice. You're thinking of the BJ vs Hughes fight where he separated his rib while trying to take Matt's back. He lost due to hurting his rib AND running out of steam.

I think BJ has finally got the conditioning thing down and I predict he will beat Sanchez with superior hands and jiu-jitsu on his side, similar to his fight with Florian though he might end it earlier. Sanchez's size won't even be a factor as BJ has fought Machida (current UFC light-heavy champ) in the past to a decision loss but never took any real damage.

Wow, I thought Diego would be a great challenge for BJ, but right at the get go the gap between Bj's stand up and Diego's was evident.
Deigo is improving and his ground game is great, but his boxing, kick boxing and Muay Thai need some more time to develop.

I think its crazy right now that you have 3 divisions in UFC where there doesn't seem to be anybody that can really challenge the title holders, its amazing.

I'd say the creme rises to the top regarding the champions. Some other very good fights as well with Mir beating him down and choking the life out of Kongo.

Also, Freddie Roach thinks that BJ has the best boxing in MMA, which is a huge compliment.
