It has consistently been a pleasure to watch Sifu Xu perform through the years! 8-)

I alway smile a bit, though, because by his own admission he is nearly as blind as a bat without his eye glasses, yet generally dislikes being filmed or photographed wearing them. As such, I never understood why he didn't simply get a pair of contact lenses in order to to be rid of the glasses altogether. -shrug- :)

Doc-
Why do you say that?
He stayed out of the pond. Are you saying that
he was listening to the ducks to avoid it?

Hey, who knows, maybe he finally got contact lenses! ;D

And like many people, Sifu Xu may simply like the way he looks without glasses better. :)

Some people will not believe you are an internal master if you wear glasses or are bald. Or both.

I have never found his form performances particularly clear or satisfying - I suspect he has done so many styles, that he has mixed up the different shenfas and jins - but he is certainly solid when it comes to application.

In that sense, he is probably far more of a traditionalist than many of the 'traditionalists' of today. Very open chap too, which I appreciate.

Good point! Now, what has this myopic skinhead done with Master George Xu?
