Part three of a five-part video on Youtube of an NHK doc on kyudo. At 5:00 they hook a master kyudoka's up to a machine and monitor his brain activity during his shot. Not CMA but obviously relevant to this board and its concerns.

There was a similar test of a taiji master at, I think, Stanford University in California. They hooked him to electrodes and monitored his power output, energy usage and vitals while he was doing IMA, and the scientists almost passed a brick in amazement at the results. It could still be on the 'net somewhere.
