I abhor any and all musicals.*
Anything by Andrew Lloyd Weber - fetch me a bucket.
Sweeney Todd - didn't last five minutes without wanting to punch satay sticks through my eardrums (ok, so she's makes the worst pies in LAHNDAN, but it's not worth three minutes of song, is it?!)
Fiddler on the Roof - there's a spot in the 18th level of Hell reserved for anyone who was involved in this movie. The fires there are stoked with the souls of anyone who enjoyed Barbara Streisand's Yentl.
The Producers - funny as feck, but would've been a lot better without the singing.
Every so often, I get harangued and LAMBASTED by musical / Disney fanatics (indistinguishable) for not sharing their (for want of a better word) taste.
"Ian, you don't like MULAN? You don't like LES MIS? SHAME ON YOU!"
"Ian, don't you like ART?"
Yes I love art. That's why I hate musicals.
*Excepted Tenacious D and the POD.
