Cody McKenzie on TUF

Man, this kid has a great guillotine. He put his opponent out like a light. He seems to push on his hand to tighten up the choke unlike a normal guillotine.
I also like his 'stoner' laid back attitude and the way he goofs on Kosh.
Here's what someone who knows him posted on another forum....

Lyle Beerbohm is Codys coach. He trained at SikJitsu forever and yes we are still open. I can say that we have had some freaks come thru SikJitsu and dont know why we werent mentioned as a normal MMA gym. We literally fight all the time. Im not sure why he said that. But one thing I can say is he has the best guillotine in the world. He has subbed many blackbelts with it. And anyone thats ever walked into SikJitsu has been guillotined by him. He has such an add body and shoulders that there is no way to train for it. He can catch you in it while you have him in side mount!!. Anybody who said a wrestler will rough him up is wrong. He is a wrestlers worse nightmare. The McKenzotine is literally one of kind so its very difficult to defend. All you have to do is go look on Sherdog.

I know some prudish people might not agree with me, but the truth of the matter is that in moderation weed is superhelpful in developing certain qualities in the mind/body synthesis stuff. Just ask Eddie Bravo.

his 'stoner' laid back attitude

420 percent true.

This is a 100% accurate transcript of GSP's locker room speech after Codys fight. Not all of it made it into the show.

GSP: Don't worry about it; all you have to do is follow 3 simple rules: One, never underestimate your opponent..expect the unexpected; Two, take it outside, never start anything unless it's absolutely necessary; and Three...be nice.

Bruce Leroy: [Incredulously] Come on!!!

GSP: If somebody gets in your face and calls you a cocksucker I want you to be nice

Cody: [With resignation] Ok

GSP: Ask him to walk, be nice, if he won't walk, walk him, but be nice, If you can't walk him, one of the others will help you and you will both be nice...I want you to remember, that it's the job, it's nothing personal.

Bruce Leroy: Being called a cocksucker isn't personal?

GSP: No, it's two nouns combined to elicit a prescribed response

Bruce Leroy: What if somebody calls my Mama a whore?

GSP: Is she?

[everybody snickers]

GSP: I want you to be nice.. until it's time..to not be nice

Brookins: So, uh, how are we supposed to know when that is?

GSP: You won't..I'll let you know...
