We plan to create a mobile wallet that ultimately eliminates the need for consumers to carry cash, credit, and debit cards, reward cards, coupons, tickets, and transit passes.

wow, that puts us only...what...10 years behind Estonia? lol

this tech has been available for a while, it is slow to get adopted in the west because...

I don't know why. I guess cause cash is still king here?
