It's pretty good, but it seems as much soap-opera as fantasy, or maybe it's soap-fantasy. I.e., the politics (bedroom/court) is just as important, if not moreso, than the battles and fantasy. Ah, that's it, they have to beware of too much reality --unlike the Tudors. So, we have to see whether it's more "Rome" or "Spartacus", with elements of "LOTR." And, I'm not saying that it's not fun to watch. The last scene in E01 was ... interesting.
