7.7 Quake off BC Coast

Zowie. That's some shakin'. But it was an undersea quake 3 miles deep (same depth as the small 4.0 quake that hit New England a couple weeks ago) so there was little damage to terrestrial property. A tsunami watch was posted for a while in the Hawaiian islands, but it has been called off.
