After a 15-year long battle, the Texas Medical Board has officially ended its crusade to revoke Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski's medical license in an effort to end the use of his pioneering personalized gene-targeted therapy for cancer

The Texas Medical Board (TMB) has a long history of harassing doctors. The entire Board was sued by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) in 2007, citing an “institutional culture of retaliation and intimidation.” Legislation was also drafted in 2009 in an effort to clamp down on the abuses by the TMB, but the bill failed to be passed into law
Dr. Burzynski’s treatment also includes antineoplastons, which are peptides and derivatives of amino acids that act as molecular and genetic switches. They turn off oncogenes that cause cancer, and activate tumor suppressor genes
Once they've determined which genes are involved in the cancer, after extensive third-party genomic testing on both the cancer tissue obtained during biopsy as well as the patient's blood, a custom formulation of FDA-approved gene-targeted drugs are then meticulously chosen to target that patients genes specially related to their cancer. Antineoplastons by themselves work on nearly 100 cancer-causing genes, while traditional gene targeted oncology agents like Avastin, are only proven to target a single gene. Typically, patients who participate in Burzynski's personalized gene-targeted regimen also receive Phenylbutyrate, a metabolite of Burzynski's original Antineoplaston invention.

I don't know if he is a good guy per se. Still I'd like to see something other than mere ad hominem attacks to explain why he is so bad.

All of it.....I have seen some of a documentary on him and his results and method seem solid.......it isnot as I'f current mainstream methods are without problems

Then you tell me what his methods and results are - because they are not disclosed anywhere.

This is a movie documentary - nothing can be learned of his methods from it. I repeat my question above. What methods are used?

On a side note, the legal case referred to at the to of the thread was closed on a technicality: Burzynski basically argued that he was not liable for things that the people who worked for him did.

Only parts - I only have Internet access through my phone. You still have not answered my question: what are his methods and what are his results? A movie is not the sort of evidence I'm looking for. In case you didn't realise I actually do this sort of work for a living. Things like peer reviewed journals, clinical trial reports or patents are the sort of thing I am interested in. Do you have any if those? Or are you simply relying on anecdotal evidence provided on camera?

Watch the movie it's easier........basically he has identified certain hormones that are lacking in the urine of all cancer patients......being a practitioner of panchakama I believe he mat be on to something, easier just to practice,but hey folks have their ideAs

He did nothing of the sort. The compounds he isolated from urine have been described in the literature since the 1950's. He did not discover them.
