Longevity training

Other than training IMA, are you doing anything you'd consider to be for longevity - either living longer and/or living healthier into old age? Nutrition, routine screenings, calorie restriction, supplements, green tea, quitting smoking, etc.?

Yoga, and improving my eating habits.

And remember that a proper mental state is necessary, too

Working very hard to get where I want to be, but at the same time not being too serious about life.
Meditation and relaxation work.
Drinking a pile of tea everyday (though thats more because I like tea than anything else) ;D

It's not quantity, its quality.

having said that:

eat whole foods
do not engage in destructive activities or vices
keep a positive mental attitude through whatever vehicle you require to do so
be moderate in all things
avoid playing in moving traffic

all that, barring genetic dispositions to disease should take you down the road as far as you will be able to go.
Coconuts. Bananas. Mangos. Rice. Beans. Water. It's good.

What do you do if you're dream is to become a fabulous traffic dancer?

Vegan diet. Try to do a bit of juicing at home. Periodic fasting for religious reasons, but it has health and longevity aspects to it too.

besides tai chi, i do water aerobics and circuit training (like Curves). take fish oil, calcium, vitamin D, multivitamins, vitamin B12, some weight training to stay ahead of the so-called inevitable muscle loss of aging. lately there was an article on how searching for stuff on the internet keeps one's brain working and i certainly do that.
that said, i'm getting a little tired of it. i'm 73 today and my innate laziness finds the idea of keeping up all this activity for 15 plus more years a bit daunting. i've been slacking off lately, and as i get older it becomes more and more obvious that you have to keep it up, keep moving, or it all goes very fast.
on the other hand, my grandchildren and new great-grandchild are great motivators to keep me on track so i can see how they turn out.
