Yeah, the bite marks indicate that there was at least a struggle, with someone within grappling range. If her story is true, she was a bit extreme, but I cannot really blame her.

"becapitation" is an interesting word, obviously a portmanteau word made from beheading and decapitation. and why not? english can stand it. even if the victim can't.
