I don't think that things like MO's photo op have any negative effect on the Chinese or on TCC, especially the "official" TCC that she was seeing. And, I don't think she was an insult to a culture or art anymore than if the First Lady of China came here and wore a dress or tried to jump rope in traditional Chinese shoes.
