We just saw that in our canadian elections where one candidate, Stefane Dion (i know, htfu stefane) who is highly intellectual turned out to not have much in the way of leadership attributes and subsequently was trounced, although not soundly because the victor is considered boorish and a bully by most of our jaded voting population.
anyway, Palin is a mental midget and has demonstrated that several times over now. McCain is an angry old man soon to be passed away if one looks at the health records of the guy. He's toast in a short while.
sadly, america runs a 2 party system and all you're left with is the democratic candidate or useless votes wasted on write ins and fringe people who don't have the money to campaign properly.
