Humor or humour

Postby Alexatron on Sat Jul 26, 2014 12:54 am

Hi everyone,

Its been very kindly pointed out to me via PM that some of my replies to threads etc. may not have been interpreted in the way I intended.

I'm no noobie to forums and understand that with cultural differences etc. attempts at humor can fall flat sometimes and unintentionally cause offense. This is why I generally include the ;D icon at the end of any post that I think may be interpreted as serious when in fact it is meant in jest.

Anyway if any post of mine has caused offense to anyone then I unreservedly apologize for this since it's never my intention to offend. Hopefully if anyone is ever offended by one of my posts they will let me know.

Cheers

Alex

Don't worry overmuch about offending the guys around here.

I never do. ;D

I define internal martial art as unusual muscle recruitment and leave it at that. If my definition is incomplete, at least it is correct so far as it goes.

I only get worried these days when I walk into the doctors office and he says, " take off your jacket and your pants."

I try to tell you to keep your hands in front of you when you fight, but do you listen? Noooo..........

I hear the Marine DI that had you in boot had to be retired on a psychiatric discharge. Only scuttlebutt, mind you, but I've heard it several places. Alex Jones is planning a special about it, once he finishes the chemtrails story. ::)

Hahaha! USMC drill sergeants are typically not known for having a charming sense of humor! :/

Michael: Be honest now. Didn't that bring back some fond memories and give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside for just a moment? No need to thank me. Happy to help, brother. ;D
