As a former trainer of trainers, I guess I qualify as an NLPer. The quick response?: it doesn't have to be "on purpose", conscious, or part of a formal cadre of techniques.......it just has to work.

Yes it is NLP and so is most forms of positive reinforcment... and advertising ..and most things on the planet that involve humans in "working relationships". Stand firm in your "circle of power" and it won't effect you. I am with Chris on this one...cause he's smart.

Take a course with the National Guild of Hypnotherapist and you'll see how its applied...then you can use it to promote your Wing Chun as in Phillip Holder's example. Or change it to your own will and call it the "Journey" by Brandon Bay... NLP is a form of verbal intent. Positive by nature...well maybe. It helps me score with chicks.
