Self-ordained Hair Fashion Police sneak around town, relieving men of their "pre-pubescent" topknots.
[NOTE: I am assuming this is a hoax, and the buzz is that it is a PR stunt and was staged]
These guys have some funny vids and are on Youtube and Facebook.

the only thing really funny about that was the fact that the guy with that mustache was judging other people for their style...

Pretty sure it's a hoax, Franklin. They're a South African performance group called Derick Watts and the Sunday Blues. All their work is on Youtube, the perform publicly, and they have a Facebook page. The PR person for the performers said that it isn't a hoax, but the the "buzz" is that it was, in fact, staged with planted "victims," and was a publicity stunt to promote the band.

Watts's deliberate fashion choices make it obvious irony. If their work were "serious," I doubt they would last long from all the death threats, lawsuits and police charges. These guys could never have pulled that stunt off more than once without police being called and hunting them down. They were easily identifiable, in a marked car, and had a camera man with them on the streets, hauling a huge Betacam on his shoulder. And their stuff is all over the Internet, and people know where they live in Cape Town. ;)

Here's another one their social satire videos:

Just so y'all know -- It was a staged hoax, the "victims" are longtime friends of the "perps" - including their own band member and the band's hairstylist.
The band got so much hate mail after the video, that they posted an "apology" on Youtube.
;D
