Ha ha! So I'm reading the Histories of Herodotus, and he's talking about a garrison of Egyptians stationed in Ethiopia that went AWOL because they were on duty for 3 years without being relieved. The king tried to get them to return, asking them to think of their wives and children "one of their number pointed, in reply, to his private parts and said that wherever THOSE were, there would be no lack of wives or children."

Made me laugh... ;D
